Fishing Bivvy

Fishing Bivvies have changed considerably over the years, and for the better.  The frame design has improved as well as the choices of fabric and brands. Now, there are a host of features that you need to keep an eye out for when you go on the hunt for your next fishing bivvy.  The newer bivvies allot for much greater room for your tackle, a bed chair and even a bivvy table should you desire.

Once of the best features about the newer bivvies is that they are much quicker to erect and tear down.  Gone are the days of feeding long tent poles through nylon loops, only to stay at a fishing spot overnight and having to take it all down just hours later.  The newer fishing bivvies are designed with a rigid aluminum frame, that is very light, quick to put up and take down, even in tough weather.

The fabric quality is much improved as well.  It is much more waterproof, lighter and more durable than the earlier models, making the bivvies much less apt to tear.  Some bivvies have zip off fronts so that an open view of the water is available if desired.  Some also come with mosquito netting to keep the bugs out and there are others that offer camouflage fabric for those who wish to stay covert.
